Noise cancellation is competent, though not on par with Bose. It effectively reduces mild to moderate background noise but falters with louder voices and abrupt sounds. It suffices for office or café environments, but during commutes, some noises may intrude. For phone calls, the transparency mode delivers natural audio and captures my voice adequately, eliminating the need to raise my voice. However, call quality itself is another story (more details later).
